This particular shop is a drive trough coffee shop – only in America you can get a coffee fix without leaving your car. Since I am not compatible with drive trough concept, I walked in.

There were twelve people waiting, this was unusual. One of the baristas, with the headset on her head, was shouting something. The guy in front of me rose his hand. I asked him what she was shouting about. He said, she is asking if anyone wants to order coffee. What a surprise, I would like to order coffee in a coffee shop, mild grande please. What an unusual concept, you can get coffee in a coffee shop? What were the other people buying ?

Any time I complained of headache, my Mother used to say: you need caffeine, I will make you some weak coffee. There is nothing better for headache than coffee, specially when it is made by your Mom. Now I need to make my own. I gave away my electric drip coffee maker years ago. For regular coffee the best is the French press. This one was made by Bodum and it works great. Three table spoons of regular grind Columbian coffee is the right size for one cup. The right coffee cup is also essential. I got this one on special, you can guess where. They do not have them anymore. The new ones have the wrong shape for my taste.
